Keysor 5th Grader Earns Recognition in Judicial Art Competition

Keysor Elementary fifth grade student Aura Brown earned second place in the Judicial Learning Center’s 2026 Student Art Competition. This year’s theme, “Juries: Through the Eyes of Students,” invited participants to explore the role of juries through student perspectives.

Aura’s artwork, Order, Order in the Court, will be framed and displayed in the Jury Assembly Room at the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse in St. Louis for one year. She will also receive a ribbon, certificate, and a $100 cash prize.

Aura created her piece during class in Dr. Nicole Post’s classroom. “We’ve been learning about the three branches of government, and this connected directly to the judicial system,” said Post.
